As a visitor to Milos

A journey of the mind and soul meets the beaches of Milos. There may be over 75 beaches in Milos but certainly some of them steal the show and should be visited depending on the time you have on the island.

Agia Kiriakiaki

Located in the South of the island. The long sandy beach with the colorful pebbles, the thick sand and the tamarisks will surely be unforgettable.

Paleochori

On the southern coast is Paleochori with its reddish rocks and warm waters.It consists of three beaches: a large organized beach, the intermediate beach and a smaller one surrounded by red rocks.

Tsigrado

One of the most beautiful beaches but not organized. Here the access is mainly from the sea or through a steep path between rocks, descending by holding a rope and then a wooden ladder. The beauty of the landscape, when you arrive, facing its crystal clear waters, leaves you stunned.

Plathiana

Very close to Plakes is Plathiana which is with fine white sand, crystal clear waters framed by 2 rocky hills. A dream landscape.

Fyriplaka

Near Tsigrado is the organized beach of Fyriplaka. Shallow waters, fine sand and white pebbles make it one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Next to it a few meters further down there are two more beaches for those who seek quietness and beaches for gymnasts.

Fyropotamos

It’s like being in a scene from a Greek movie. A small beach with tamarisk trees and clear turquoise waters, flanked by the seaside settlement with its small village of sycamore trees and the chapel of Agios Nikolaos on the edge. It is definitely worth experiencing!

Papafragas

Located next to the ruins of the ancient city of Phylakopi.It is a cave beach where the sea enters the rock and creates a small sandy beach. The descent to the small creek that has been formed is done with care from the rocky outcrops that have created their own path.

Sarakiniko

It is not by chance the most famous beach in the world .The combination of the lunar landscape with the all-white relief rocks and blue waters attracts thousands of visitors all year round. Caves to explore and high cliffs for diving enthusiasts when the sea is calm.

Kleftiko
or otherwise known as
Marine Meteora

It was a pirates’ lair. Grey and white rocks in strange shapes, caves washed by the turquoise waters and worth exploring. It is one of the most impressive landscapes of Milos. To get there you can rent a boat, go around the island or for the more adventurous you can follow a relatively rough path.

Alogomantra

The impressive rock that forms a natural cave-like cavity on this beautiful beach with its silver-green waters will enchant you!
